Philippe

As part of the sculpture services from sculptco (www.sculptco.com) i was asked to create a concept with a following prototype of a character for the famous www.philippes.com - French Dip Sandwich restaurant in Los Angeles.



I started out with a digital 3D concept, which has been approved immediately. Next step was to create a clay-sculpture, where i needed to make some changes to the initial 3d concept.


Then create the mold - since this is a simple character,creating the mold was pretty easy.
I decided to make a two pieces mold, first the Hand holding the plate then the rest of the character.
